Last updated: 15 October 2026
We respect your privacy. This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit synohla.com or contact us, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish law.
1. Data controller
OHLA Plast & Färgteknik AB, Swedish reg. no. 556362-9772, Motorgatan 6, 44240, Kungälv is the controller responsible for processing your personal data. You can reach us at sales@synohla.com or +46 303 172 22.
2. What data we process and why

We do not collect sensitive personal data and do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Cookies
Synohla.com only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work, for example to remember your language choice. Under the Swedish Electronic Communications Act these do not require consent. We do not use cookies for analytics or marketing. If we start doing so, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
The enquiry form
When you send an enquiry through the form on the website, the details are sent to us by email. We only use the details to respond to and handle your enquiry.
The form is protected against spam by Cloudflare Turnstile. When the form is shown, Turnstile checks – without asking you to solve a puzzle – that it is being filled in by a person rather than a bot. To do this it processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser’s User-Agent and other technical signals. The data is not used for marketing or to track you across websites. Cloudflare acts as our data processor for this check. Cloudflare also uses the signals, as an independent controller, to improve its bot detection – see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
4. Links to social media
The website links to our pages on LinkedIn and Instagram. No data is sent to them until you click a link; after that, their own privacy policies apply.
5. Who we share data with
- Suppliers that process data on our behalf, such as web hosting, email and accounting services. They may only use the data according to our instructions (data processing agreements).
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which provides the Turnstile spam protection for the form.
- Synohla’s co-owners Synteko and Ohlaplast, when needed to handle your enquiry or delivery.
- Public authorities, when we are required to by law.
We never sell your personal data.
6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
We primarily process data within the EU/EEA. Cloudflare is a US company, so data processed by Turnstile may be transferred to the United States. If a supplier processes data outside the EU/EEA, we make sure the transfer is lawful under the GDPR, for example through a European Commission adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you and receive a copy (access)
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have data erased when it is no longer needed or is processed unlawfully
- request that processing is restricted
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- receive data you have provided in a machine-readable format (data portability)
- withdraw any consent you have given at any time
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or it’s content, please contact Dick Gustafsson, CEO of Ohla Plast & Färgteknik AB, at sales@synohla.com or +46 303 172 22. We will respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you believe we are processing your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se, or with the data protection authority in your country of residence. We appreciate it if you contact us first.
9. Changes
We may update this policy, for example if the website or the law changes. The latest version is always available on synohla.com, with the date of the last update at the top.
